UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MAY THE PROHIRE COMPANY COMPUTERS OR MONITORS BE USED ON BEACHES, SAND OR DUNES WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT FROM MANAGEMENT.
Equipment is charged on daily rates, which shall accrue from the time the equipment leaves the rental premises ‘’ Prohire ‘’ until its return. Adjustments in charges will be made at the time the equipment has been returned, and full rental charges will apply to all damaged equipment until repaired or replaced. After-hours and weekend openings for clients require a surcharge of R450 after 6pm during the week and Saturdays, Sundays, and after 8pm R600.
The equipment carries compulsory insurance which is charged at 10% of the full day rental fee. If a half day rental has been pre-arranged, the full day insurance fee will still be charged. Should damage/theft/loss occur, the excess is payable by the Rentee. Excess is charged at 10% of the replacement cost of the item(s), subject to a minimum of R500 ( FIVE HUNDRED ). If the Rentee has their own insurance, proof of adequate cover will be required prior to the rental.
- Theft from an unattended vehicle
- Theft from a closed and locked boot or non-visible compartment
- Dismantling of any equipment
- Confiscation of any equipment
- Loss of data
LOSS OR THEFT:
A rental charge will be charged on equipment that is lost or stolen until ‘’ Prohire ‘’ is reimbursed in full replacement cost of the equipment.
DAMAGED AND CLEANING CHARGES:
The Rentee shall be fully responsible for any and all damages to all equipment hired, irrespective of the course of damages. Equipment must be returned in the same condition as it was in when signed out to avoid damage and/or cleaning charges.
Qualified staff inspects all equipment before and on return of each rental. The Rentee must understand the operation and limitations of the equipment. Failure of such will not be accepted as a reason for non-payment of hiring fees. In the event of equipment failure, ‘’Prohire’’ at its own discretion, can be held responsible ONLY for the rental charges and not the related costs.
COLLECTION/DELIVERY OF EQUIPMENT:
The Rentee shall be responsible for collections and returns of the equipment within the date/time agreed upon. Should the Rentee be unable to collect/return the equipment timeously and request a courier service, the Rentee will be responsible for all courier/freight costs. Should there be any delays, the Rentee shall be held responsible for rental fees and transport charges. Shipping, handling and transport fees are outside our costs.
Should the Rentee cancel an order 24hrs ( TWENTY FOUR ) after the scheduled date, a fee pro rata to the confirmed booking date(s) shall be charged and/or loss of reservation privileges will occur.
It is specifically recorded that in the event of the Rentee not signing the terms and conditions agreement of the rental, the Rentee acknowledges by accepting and utilising the equipment, they accept full responsibility as per the T&C’S of the agreement as herein even though no physical signature is attached to this agreement.
The Rentee specifically indemnifies ‘’ Prohire’’ against any liability, loss, claim or proceeding of whatsoever nature, whether arising in common law or by statute suffered by the Rentee and/or employees, clients, associated or any affiliated party if the Renter howsoever confirmed.
